These rectangular electromagnets are specifically designed for heavy-duty sweeping of large areas.
The PE series can be suspended from a fork truck or any suitable vehicle.
The TRMP series is a towable design that is supplied complete with wheels, 600 x 9 pneumatic tires, an adjustable towbar, and parking stand. The parking stand folds up into the towbar when the sweeper is in use.
Both the PE series and TRMP series are available in two magnetic strengths; PE-TRMP-12 for up to 7" ground clearance and PE-TRMP-20 for up to 10" ground clearance. Slower sweeping speeds and lower ground clearances result in the most efficient sweeping.
Magnets are constructed of high permeability mild steel, all welded, weatherproof, with an abrasion and impact resistant non magnetic bottom plate. Coils are designed for 100% duty to provide efficient, all day sweeping.
All units can be supplied with a heavy duty, commercial quality 115 volt AC generator mounted right to the top of the sweeper. Generators are powered by an air cooled 4 stroke OHV gasoline engine that has oil alert and automatic idle features. Fuel tank capacity allows 5 to 8 hours of use at continuous full rated load. When the sweeper is not in use, the generator can be used as an auxiliary power source in areas where power may not be available.
Magnets are energized and de-energized using the 115 vac "On" - "Off" switch on the generator. A remote switch on 20 feet of cable is available as an option.
